Neptune is turning direct today, after being in retrograde since early June. When a planet turns direct, it’s energy shifts from being internalised to externalised. Neptune is the planet of source, some might refer to it as god-consciousness. It’s energy is about inspiration and compassion. This is the planet that rules Pisces, so you might know it best in that ethereal, otherworldliness of Pisceans. So, when this energy turns outward it opens up the opportunity for us to have more intuitive connection with other, and with source. For the last 5 months this energy has been internalised, helping us to find connection with our own consciousness. Now we get to connect with the universe. Neptune dissolves egoic bonds in the psyche and liberates true energies of consciousness, freeing us to return to a native state of connection with one. For Neptune, all is one.
Venus gets involved with the Zap Zone over the next few days, lining up with Pluto (conjunct) and square to Uranus over Friday and Saturday. When Venus touches Pluto, expect intensity in relationships and love experiences. This energy is deep and powerful and potentially quite beautiful and intimate, but it can create a tendency to use relating (Venus) as a way to express unconscious urges (Pluto) … which could be fun, but could also be a bit destructive. And especially if we are feeling a compulsive kind of push, it is worth checking in with ourselves that we are not using or manipulating someone else for less than loving ends!
And then Venus square Uranus means relating (Venus) is working at odds with excitement (Uranus), so there’s a good chance of creating misunderstandings that end in a lover’s tiff! Venus square Uranus energy is like when you just can’t help yourself from pushing someone else’s buttons … we’re all a bit impatient, seeking excitement, which again can be fun, but it can also be a bit provocative.
Put these two aspects together and the energy is somewhere between playful and destructive … have fun with it, but be aware of ego and acknowledge that at least some of what’s driving us over these few days is under the surface. And of course, none of this is causal, but …
